An early morning noise complaint turned into a weapons arrest after an Auburn woman allegedly confronted a neighbor while holding a shotgun, police said.
Officers responded to the 300 block of Melone Village Apartments around 9:42 a.m. on November 15 after two neighbors called in separate complaints — one about loud music, and the other claiming someone had pointed a machine gun at him.
Police said the reported weapon was actually a legally owned 12-gauge shotgun. The woman accused of brandishing it was identified as Miana Addison, 28, who lives at the complex.
According to the victim, his neighbors had been pounding on the walls and yelling at his front door. When he stepped outside, he said he saw Addison holding the shotgun and shouting about the noise, which made him fear for his safety…
