SPRINGFIELD, MO – Plans are in the works to redevelop a site that’s currently home to one of the city’s vacant Kum & Go stores.
On Monday night, the city council was expected to vote on final passage of a resolution to rezone a site at 2404 E. Sunshine (near Enterprise Ave.) from Planned Development to General Retail.
The rezoning plan would pave the way for a new business on the property occupied by the convenience store, which closed last spring. Since then, the gas station’s gas pump canopy has been demolished, leaving just the retail store…
