WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – A Wichita mother is dead, and her two young children were taken to the hospital following a crash in Butler County.
The Butler County Sheriff’s Office says Harley R. Wright, 27, of Wichita, had left a family gathering around 7:30 p.m. Sunday with her children, ages 5 and 6. She was taking the children to El Dorado, but never arrived.
Family contacted the El Dorado Police Department requesting a welfare check. Around 1 a.m., the Butler County Sheriff’s Office was called to a crash scene at NW 30th and NW Tawakoni Road near Benton. The family discovered the crash.
