Former Riverside paraeducator pleads guilty to child exploitation

SPOKANE, Wash. – Former Riverside School District employee Dallas Michael Shuler pleaded guilty to 12 felony counts related to the online exploitation of children, announced United States Attorney Pete Serrano in a release.

In May 2024, the FBI Spokane Office began investigating Shuler after a video of child sexual abuse material was posted online. Shuler admitted to contacting the minors in the video and requesting explicit content.

Investigations revealed his involvement in hands-on sexual abuse of at least three minors and online exploitation of dozens more, primarily through Snapchat. The charges involve the exploitation of 37 minor children, Serrano said…
