BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — An Angola man who formerly worked at the West Seneca Post Office was sentenced after he stole and rifled through mail, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced.
Between 2021 and May 2022, Christopher Porter, 37, was employed by the USPS. On at least one occasion, he stole two gift cards from an envelope and gave them to his wife. He also rifled through various pieces of mail in May 2022, delaying their delivery.
Porter was sentenced to two years of probation and 100 hours of community service.
