CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Mercy Health has reached a new agreement with Humana that will keep more than 18,700 patients in the Cincinnati region in network with its providers and facilities.
The deal, which takes effect Dec. 1, 2025, covers Humana contracts for Medicare Advantage and managed Medicaid health plans, the health system said.
Dr. John Luellen, Mercy Health’s Ohio state president, said the negotiations focused on protecting patients from uncertainty and disruptions in their care. “With this agreement, Humana patients can continue to rely on Mercy Health for uninterrupted access to their trusted providers and services,” Luellen said in a statement…
