North East woman pleads guilty in child endangerment case, boyfriend heads to trial

(WJET/WFXP)– The North East woman arrested earlier this year, accused of endangering her three children after one was found naked on the side of a public street, has pleaded guilty to three felony charges, while the other adult charged will be heading to trial.

According to Assistant District Attorney Shane Kaliszewski, 31-year-old Elizabeth Pohl pleaded guilty to three counts of first-degree felony endangering the welfare of a child in Erie County Court on Tuesday.

That guilty plea came in a deal with prosecutors who agreed not to pursue another felony child endangerment charge, three felony counts of unlawful restraint, along with misdemeanor reckless endangerment…
