Cause of death and name of house fire victim released by Allen County Coroner’s Office

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) The identity of a man found inside a burning home last week, who emergency crews were unable to revive, has been released by the Allen County Coroner’s Office.

Willie L. Williams, 77, died of smoke inhalation and thermal burns. His home, located at 3017 Reed Street in Fort Wayne, caught fire on the morning of November 11. It started in the living room and the cause has been ruled accidental.
