MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — A popular restaurant chain could be coming to one area in Rutherford County, but the plans have to get approved by the city before it’s able to become reality.
A new Chick-fil-A could be in the works off of Church Street, close to the Joe B. Jackson Parkway Walmart. Site plans for the restaurant were submitted to the Murfreesboro Planning Commission. It would be located along the northeast corner of South Church Street and Joe B. Jackson Parkway.

The restaurant would be an addition to the Marketplace at Savannah Ridge development, and would include parking, landscaping, and a drive-thru.
The site plans show that Chick-fil-A would rely on existing shared access roads rather than adding a new entrance. The site would use access easements within Marketplace at Savannah Ridge to access both Joe B. Jackson Parkway and South Church Street, and share road access with Aldi…
