NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 19-year-old suspect has been charged in connection with a robbery that left a person with life-threatening injuries in the Napier area.
According to court documents, just before 5 p.m. on Nov. 3, several people entered through the back door of an apartment complex on University Court and robbed the victim of narcotics. The victim was shot during the robbery, and later taken to Vanderbilt University Center with serious injuries.
The suspects were reportedly captured on surveillance video running from University Court and entering a nearby apartment building on Carroll Street. Documents said as they fled from the robbery site, one of the suspects dropped a bag containing more than 200 grams of cocaine.
