Nashville man arrested in Kentucky on drug trafficking charges

FRANKLIN, Ky. (WKRN) — A Nashville man was arrested in Franklin, Kentucky, last week after he was reportedly found with methamphetamine and fentanyl.

According to the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force, agents were notified on Nov. 13 that 29-year-old Juarez Montgomery would be traveling to Franklin, Kentucky, while possessing “a large amount of methamphetamine and some fentanyl.”

Authorities said the Kentucky State Police Interdiction Team’s troopers located Montgomery traveling north on Interstate 65. They conducted a traffic stop, detained Montgomery and transported him to the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force office.

Troopers reportedly told Montgomery that if anything illegal was on his person, he would face further charges upon entering the jail. Montgomery denied having anything in his possession, officials said…
