Paramedic hit, killed after attempting to help crash victim on Florida highway

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA)— A North Carolina paramedic was hit and killed over the weekend after stopping to help a driver who was hit and killed while exiting his vehicle after a crash.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Chevy Impala and a Volkswagen ID.4 were traveling in the northbound lanes of I-95 when the two vehicles collided after the Impala changed lanes.
