Stockton residents now have a unique chance to leave a lasting mark on their city. The City of Stockton is officially accepting public nominations to name its newest neighborhood park, a nearly five-acre green space in the Cannery Park subdivision near PFC Jesse Mizener Street and the Highway 99 frontage.
Located at 3993 Stapleton Drive, the 4.96-acre park is nearing completion and will soon become a recreational anchor for families in southeast Stockton. But first, the City wants the community’s help in choosing a meaningful and memorable name.
Nominations Open Through January 20
The nomination period runs through Tuesday, January 20, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. Community members can submit ideas using an online form or a printable application available at the City’s website, StocktonCA.gov/Parks.
