High Plains Food Bank receives turkey donation from Pantex

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The High Plains Food Bank received a donation of 400 frozen turkeys from Pantex to support families facing food insecurity across the Texas Panhandle.

According to HPFB officials, Pantex purchased a frozen turkey for each Pantex employee to show their appreciation this holiday season. Officials noted that Pantex arranged for all unclaimed turkeys to be donated directly to HPFB.
