MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers began offshore equipment mobilization this weekend, marking the start of a $72 million Grand Strand beach renourishment project.
The beach renourishment comes after damage from hurricanes Ian and Debby along the Grand Strand coastline.
