Adams MultiMedia, a Minnesota-based company that owns The Daily Sun and the Venice Gondolier, is purchasing The Cedar Rapids Gazette and 11 community newspaper titles, the companies announced jointly this morning.
The agreement between Tom Pientok, president & CEO of Folience, Inc., and Mark Adams, president and CEO of Adams MultiMedia, is expected to be finalized by Dec. 1, at which time most Gazette employees will join Adams MultiMedia.
