The Department of Motor Vehciles in Ames is soon moving to a more centralized location.
The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) said relocating the Driver License Service Center from its current spot near the west Hy-Vee is part of an “ongoing commitment to operational excellence and efficient use of state resources.”
