Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, Louisiana, has received its sixth consecutive ‘A’ Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group. The Leapfrog Group is a national nonprofit organization focused on patient safety. This recognition places Our Lady of Lourdes among four hospitals in Louisiana and 64 nationwide to earn the Straight ‘A’ distinction in the latest grading period, as of fall 2025.
Stephanie Manson, president of Our Lady of Lourdes, said the hospital is committed to patient safety. She stated that the recognition reflects the team’s work to improve patient care and outcomes. Manson credited the staff for their focus on providing safe, patient- and family-centered care.
