HOUSTON (KIAH) — A man was killed in a motorcycle accident that involved a possibly stolen excavator off of Highway 249 in Tomball over the weekend.
The crash happened around 1:15 a.m. at the 17100 block of the Tomball Parkway, as Houston police said that they found a crashed red Indian motorcycle in the middle of the freeway. A man was found nearby, who was declared dead at the scene.
The victim was identified by HPD as 66-year-old Randal Knerl.

Officers also found a Cat excavator a short distance from the crash scene. It was still running and was off the roadway with damage to its rear consistent with the damage from the scene…
