(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) has a man in custody after an alleged string of morning car thefts on Nov. 18.
According to CSPD, the Colorado Springs Public Safety Communications Center received its first report of a motor vehicle theft (MVT) at 5:30 a.m. from the 1200 block of Cancun Court, just off of East Fountain Boulevard. The victim told police that they started the car to warm it up before it was stolen.
A little after 7 a.m., another caller from the 1000 block of South Cheltomn Road told the communications center that they believed a stolen vehicle was left in a nearby parking lot. Less than half an hour later, another MVT was called in from the same road…
