Services set for Albuquerque pilot killed in UPS plane crash in Louisville

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Services are set to celebrate the life of Lee Truitt, the Albuquerque man killed in a Nov. 4, 2025 UPS plane crash in Louisville, Kentucky.

A celebration of Lee Truitt’s life is set for Saturday, Nov. 22, at Cutter Flying Service. It starts at 10:30 a.m.

Truitt was the first officer aboard UPS Flight 2976. An NTSB member said the plane was cleared for takeoff when a large fire developed in the left wing and an engine fell off, leading to the crash…
