Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada is stepping up in a big way this Thanksgiving, offering thousands of families across Northern Nevada the chance to bring home a full holiday meal.
With demand for food assistance climbing sharply this month, CCNN is rolling out its “Gathering Together Meal Kits” at participating St. Vincent’s Food Pantry locations from November 18–21. The kits come packed with all the staples needed for a classic Thanksgiving dinner and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
A generous community donation is helping make it happen — allowing CCNN to provide 1,000 additional Thanksgiving food boxes, plus ready-to-eat “Fork Ready” meals for families using the Moana Lane and Sun Valley Neighborhood Centers and rural pantry sites…
