String of violent road encounters sparks conversation for increased enforcement

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — An increase in violence across valley roadways has sparked the conversation of what to do to avoid or de-escalate a situation should you find yourself in the middle of a road rage-related incident.

Since the start of the year, nearly a dozen local cases of violent incidents across valley roadways have occurred. Within the past month alone, a total of five separate incidents have raised concerns among many drivers, with two road rage-related incidents occurring in October and three other violent cases occurring within the first weeks of November.
