MOUNT ANGEL, Ore. (KPTV) — High atop a community named for the angels lies a sanctuary of serenity where visitors can feel the prayer of 143 years.
The story of Mount Angel Abbey traces back to a Swiss monastery founded more than 900 years ago called Engelberg, German for “mountain of angels.”
