ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — A burn ban is in effect for Buncombe County as of Monday, Nov. 17, amid “very high” fire danger for most of the state. This comes as crews continue battling two wildfires in the mountains.
Buncombe County issued a burn ban on Sunday, which went into effect Monday, Nov. 17. The ban applies to all open burning, including yard waste, debris, and land-clearing burns.
