A New Hampshire man has been arrested in connection with an alleged rape at knifepoint more than three decades ago.
Darrell Lavoie, 59, of Nashua, N.H., appeared in the Essex County Superior Court in Massachusetts on Monday, Nov. 17 in connection with the alleged November 1991 incident, the Essex County District Attorney’s office said in a press release this week.
Authorities alleged Lavoie assaulted the woman on Nov. 12, 1991 in her Peabody, Mass. home. He allegedly hid out in her home, lay in wait for her, then blindfolded and raped her at knifepoint, per the DA’s office statement…
