Former fast food restaurant demolished, ‘real opportunity’ for local redevelopment

CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) – The shuttered White Castle at the entrance to Northside’s business district will be demolished and acquired by the neighborhood’s community development corporation, priming it for potential redevelopment.

Demolition was ongoing Nov. 14.

Northsiders Engaged in Sustainable Transformation has a purchase contract for the property from the limited liability company that owns it for $355,000. NEST is seeking up to $450,000 in tax-increment financing (TIF) funds for the purchase and related costs.
