CentroVilla 25 is a new market and food hall in the Clark-Fulton area, offering space for Latino business owners where neighbors can enjoy examples of their own culture and non-Latinos can discover what this community has to offer. It’s filled with kiosks selling coffee, tacos, Salvadorian, Dominican, Venezuelan and Cuban food, T-shirts, baby items, jewelry and vintage goods, among other things.
It’s also a gathering place and a space to hold special events, and this week there’ll be an important civic event there. Presumptive Democratic candidate for governor in next year’s election, Dr. Amy Acton, will be stopping in to meet people informally, learn what’s on their minds and share what she’d like to see change in Ohio. Attendees are promised “delicious food and stimulating conversation.” The event is hosted by the Cuyahoga Democratic Women’s Caucus.
