CLEVELAND (WJW) – The Cleveland Division of Fire is urging everyone to check their smoke detectors after another fire broke out Friday morning.
SkyFOX captured dramatic video showing flames and heavy smoke pouring from a multi-unit home on the 11300 block of Whitmore Avenue in Cleveland.

Firefighters were called around 7:30 a.m. to extinguish a fire on the home’s second level.
“They determined it to be unintentional, like accidental,” Public Information Officer Mike Norman said. “It’s either electrical, or it could have been there were some space heaters up there. Could have been a space heater fire.”
