COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Nearly six months after the Columbus Council fired City Manager Isaiah Hugley, the city has paused a search for his replacement after a round of interviews failed to produce a name Mayor Skip Henderson could present to the council for approval.
Henderson announced during Tuesday’s council meeting that he was hitting “pause” on the search.
“We are not stopping the process,” Henderson told the council. “We have paused it. We are not bringing any names forward. My intent is to restart a search in five or six months…
