L.A. County has 625 deferred death cases, including Celeste Rivas Hernandez

The case involving missing Lake Elsinore teen Celeste Rivas Hernandez hinges on one word listed on the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s page: “Deferred.”

As KTLA has reported, Hernandez was found dead in the front trunk of a Tesla linked to rising R&B singer D4VD, but authorities still don’t know how she died or whether a crime was committed—other than LAPD suggesting possible concealment of a body.
