Cat cafe and tattoo shop host flash sale, fundraiser

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — On Nov. 22, visitors to Meeting House Tattoo can attend Tats for Cats, a flash sale and fundraiser for Fig and Friends Pet Rescue, organized by Happy Cat Cafe.

“We can help cats while doing something that’s artistic and fun,” Kati Quarto, the owner of Happy Cat Cafe, said.

Beginning at noon, walk-in appointments at Meeting House Tattoo can select a cat design from one of its several artists’ books before sitting down for a brand-new tattoo.

“The artists at Meeting House have all created exclusive sheets of cat tattoos,” Quarto said. “Any of those designs you pick out are $100.”

Guests can enjoy coffee as they wait for their appointment, and staff members of Happy Cat Cafe and Fig and Friends Pet Rescue will be present to offer information on donation and adoption…
