INDIANAPOLIS — The Court of Appeals of Indiana has ordered the state to respond within the next seven days after MDwise filed an emergency motion with the court.
The motion calls for an injunction on the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration’s decision to axe the state’s contract with MDwise— a decision that the Medicaid health plan provider said would not only leave 300,000 Hoosiers in jeopardy of healthcare disruptions but would cause more than 200 Hoosiers to lose their jobs.
“Following the actions of the FSSA — its ambiguous termination of the MDwise Medicaid contract and its inexplicably rushed timeline — our priority is ensuring uninterrupted access to care for our more than 300,000 individuals and families who rely on their coverage every day,” MDwise said in response to filing the emergency motion with the court…
