University of Tennessee Named a 2026 Dream Employer by Forbes, Highlighting Local Workplace Excellence

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, has been named one of America’s Dream Employers by Forbes magazine, according to a November 18, 2025 announcement. This is the second year in a row that UT has appeared on the list, which Forbes began in 2024. The recognition is based on workplace environment and employee support.

Tarah Keeler, associate vice chancellor and chief human resources officer at UT, commented on the recognition. She said it reflects the university’s focus on career development, work-life balance, and professional growth. Keeler stated that UT aims to attract those interested in higher education careers.

Forbes created the 2026 Dream Employers list with market research firm Statista. The process included an independent survey of college students and professionals from U.S. organizations with more than 1,000 employees.
