Man guilty of stabbing State Police agent on Montour Trail sentenced up to 42 years

Anthony Quesen, who pleaded guilty but mentally ill in August to the third-degree murder of a Pennsylvania State Police agent last October on the Montour Trail has been sentenced.

The Allegheny County District Attorney’s office says the 25-year-old Quesen will spend the next 16 to 42 years in a penitentiary for the murder of Trooper Benjamin Brallier, a liquor control enforcement officer who was off-duty at the time and a separate robbery at Point State Park.
