Wilmington Police have reportedly taken two men into custody in connection to a burglary that occurred in the early hours of October 19. The suspects, identified as Rudolph Reams, 57, and Michael Monroe, 53, were arrested following a thorough investigation into the incident on North Market Street, as mentioned in a statement released by the department and obtained by the Wilmington Police Department.
The case, led by Detective Johnnie Everett of the Wilmington Police Criminal Investigations Division, unfolded when officers responded to a call at approximately 5:29 a.m. on the 2200 block of North Market Street. Investigative efforts eventually led to firmly identify Reams and Monroe as suspects. Reams was taken into custody on October 30, and Monroe was later arrested on November 12, with neither incident involving any reported altercations, as reported by the Wilmington Police Department.
According to the details shared by the Wilmington Police Department, the charges against Reams include Burglary in the Third Degree, Possession of Burglar Tools, Theft Under $1,500, and Criminal Mischief Over $1,000.
