Corpus Christi Medical Center opens expanded Bay Area ER

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi Medical Center celebrated a significant upgrade Monday as hospital leaders marked the expansion of the Bay Area emergency room with a ribbon-cutting and groundbreaking ceremony.

The project includes an expanded ER that will open Dec. 1 with 13 state-of-the-art beds. Hospital officials said the improvements are part of a broader effort to strengthen emergency care services across the Coastal Bend.
