Lubbock AT&T Customers: You Could Get Up to $7,500

If you’ve got AT&T service here in Lubbock, listen up–because this might be one of the rare times being an AT&T customer actually pays off.

AT&T just settled a $177 million class action lawsuit, and some Lubbock customers could be eligible for checks as high as $7,500. But the key word is could, because you only have until December 18 to file a claim.

What Happened With AT&T?

According to the Kroll Settlement Administration, AT&T customers had their private information leaked not once, but twice in 2024.

On March 30th, 2024, personal data from some customers–including Social Security numbers, birthdates, phone numbers, addresses, billing account numbers, and even passcodes–was posted on the dark web. Then, on July 12th, it allegedly happened again, this time with data being illegally downloaded…
