Ex-Omaha teacher being sued by nonprofit she stole from

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A former Omaha Public Schools teacher convicted of stealing from a nonprofit is now being sued by the organization.

Angela Wolfe was sentenced a year ago for theft and received 3 years of probation.

Wolfe changed her plea to “no contest” and had a charge of Second-Degree Forgery dropped.

The Nebraska High School Press Association says that Wolfe stole around $76,000 while managing its accounts as the organization’s treasurer for six years…
