OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) – For 9-year-old Callan Murray, skipping school on his birthday to wait in line for an hour was worth every minute.
“I’ve been wanting to race since I was a little kid,” Murray said, bouncing with excitement as he waited for the grand opening of Andretti Indoor Karting & Games in Overland Park.
The massive 84,000-square-foot entertainment complex officially opened its doors to the public on Tuesday at 4 p.m., bringing the Andretti family’s racing legacy to Kansas.
