A Winter Storm Warning is in effect through early Wednesday, November 19 for mountain areas above 1 829 m (6 000 feet) in California’s Eastern Sierra Slopes and parts of Nevada, with snowfall totals increasing across multiple ranges.
In California’s Eastern Sierra Slopes, expected snowfall ranges from 5–13 cm (2–5 inches) above 1 830 m (6 000 feet) and 18–30 cm (7–12 inches) above 2 740 m (9 000 feet). Similar totals are forecast for the White Mountains, where 5–13 cm (2–5 inches) are expected above 1 830 m (6 000 feet) and 18–30 cm (7–12 inches) above 2 740 m (9 000 feet).
In Nevada, expected accumulations at Lida Summit include 2.5–7.5 cm (1–3 inches) above 1 830 m (6 000 feet), 7.5–23 cm (3–9 inches) above 2 130 m (7 000 feet), and 23–38 cm (9–15 inches) above 2 440 m (8 000 feet)…
