Agriculture inspectors captured a skunk at Honolulu Harbor on Friday, Nov. 14, after setting traps for it at Pier 1.
This comes one week after a skunk was captured at Hilo Harbor.
On Tuesday, Nov. 11, U.S. Customs and Border Protection staff at Honolulu Harbor reported to the Hawaii Department of Agriculture and Biosecurity a sighting of a skunk at Pier 1. Agriculture inspectors were quickly dispatched to the pier and searched the area, but did not find the critter. Inspectors set four traps with cat food and left them in the area.
