NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — On Wednesday the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office will host a press conference addressing a recent undercover chat operation that reportedly led to the arrest of several individuals.
Operation Online Guardian was an effort put in place by the sheriff’s office and the South Carolina Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, beginning in May of 2025. The effort spanned six months and covered the tri-county area.
