NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A man was arrested Saturday after an armed robbery at a gas station on Dorchester Road, according to the North Charleston Police Department.
Antonio Brown, a 39-year-old from Awendaw was arrested and charged with armed robbery with a deadly weapon and possession with intent to distribute cocaine base.
The incident report states that an armed robbery was reported just before 8 p.m. at the Exxon gas station. Officers arrived on scene and met with the store employee who stated that during the incident, the suspect kept his hand in his pocket, leading her to believe that he was armed.
