COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Starting January 1, 2026, Columbus Fire and EMS inspectors will be issuing tickets for fire lane violations.
The announcement comes from the department’s Community Risk Reduction Division and in accordance with Columbus Code of Ordinances and the International Fire Code (IFC).
