L.A. County Board Of Supervisors Approve Major Santa Clarita Valley Housing, Economic Development Project

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has unanimously approved the Entrada South / Valencia Commerce Center project, a major development in the Santa Clarita Valley that will add more than 1,574 multi-family attached residences to the community.

Located west of The Old Road and spanning the northern and southern portions of Magic Mountain Parkway, the development is expected to include 91 lots with 1,574 multi-family units, including apartments and condominiums.

The plan calls for 110 affordable units on-site, with an additional 78 affordable units off-site for households earning up to 65% of the area median income—around $69,300 for a family of four in the Santa Clarita Valley .

The project also has a significant economic development component, the Valencia Commerce Center. The Commerce Center aims to add over 4 million square feet of industrial and commercial space, projected to create more than 10,000 jobs in the region…
