100 Black Men of Mobile: Project Mentor Male Summit

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The 100 Black Men of Greater Mobile is excited to host 400 young men from across Mobile County on November 19 at the Project Mentor Male Summit, an initiative of the 100 Black Men of Greater Mobile. The Male Summit is an integral event in building a positive and empowering young male ecosystem in Mobile County. This year, we are taking over the main campus of Bishop State Community College beginning at 8:30 am.

Male students participating in Project Mentor courses in schools within Mobile County have been invited to this one-day leadership and skill-building conference. The conference will include roundtable discussions, workshops and panel discussions to build critical thinking and execution skills as these young men mature from “Boys to Men.”

Additionally, male students will have the opportunity to engage with members of the 100 Black Men of Greater Mobile, the Collegiate 100 Chapter from the University of South Alabama, Bishop State Ambassadors, local professionals and regional leaders…
