ADECA launches program to help homeowners in Dallas, Autauga counties affected by 2023 tornadoes

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – Homeowners in Dallas and Autauga Counties who were impacted by the tornadoes that struck the area in 2023 can now apply for a grant to help with any remaining damage thanks to a new program by the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs.

The Home Recovery Alabama Program will offer monetary help to property owners to repair, rebuild, or replace single-family homes that were damaged by the tornadoes, according to ADECA.

Starting on Tuesday, Nov. 18, you can apply for one of these grants at HomeRecoverAL.com as long as you owned property before the tornadoes hit and still own the home…
