Toledo family claims city demolition damaged home, city cites immunity

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A Toledo family says a city demolition project damaged their home last week and claims the city is asserting immunity from responsibility, leaving them to handle repairs on their own.

The family lives next to a demolition site on Maplewood Avenue, where crews tore down a condemned apartment building that neighbors say had been an issue for around 10 years.
