Lansing Awarded $5.8M to Fix Roads—Tell Them Which Roads to Fix

There’s a reason why “fix the damn roads” is on every Michigander’s lips. If you ask anyone which roads need to be repaired, they’d probably tell you just about every single one. And that’s a long list.

Now, Lansing residents are getting the chance to do just that: say which roads needs to be fixed.

As it turns out, the City of Lansing recently received an extra $5.8 million to fix the roads in town from Public Act 51, which dictates “how the State of Michigan collects and spends money on roads and transportation.”

Mayor Andy Schor and Lansing Public Service Department are calling on you for your input.

If you have a road that you want to submit for repair, a Roadway Construction Input Form is available on the City of Lansing’s website. All you have to do is answer six questions, and your suggestion will be submitted for possible repair…
